Himrod – seedless grape variety, European-American hybrid, early-medium ripening. Genetic formula: 62.50% vitis vinifera + 37.50% vitis labrusca. Clusters are medium and large, weighing 200-400 g, loose. The berries are small, oval, pale yellow, of excellent quality, with a specific aroma, with juicy, melting pulp. Treatments with gibberellin two weeks after flowering can double the size of the berry. But the ability to store grapes, in this case, is reduced. Resistance to fungal diseases is increased, to frost -22°C. The variety is distributed in the USA, Japan. Himrod grapes are used for fresh consumption, making sultanas. Can be used to make white wine.
