CHERNIY KISHMISH is a seedless hybrid form of grapes, early ripening period – 115-120 days. In the conditions of Novocherkassk, it ripens in mid-August. Bushes of great vigor. Clusters are medium, with an average weight of 300 g, individual up to 700 g, cylindrical-conical, medium density and dense. The berries are medium, weighing 2.2-2.8 g, slightly oval, 16.5 x 14.9 mm, black. Seedless class II-III. The pulp is dense, crispy, taste with a very light unobtrusive fruity aroma. The skin is thick but well eaten.The variety has a high sugar accumulation. Sugar content 18-24 g/100 cm3, acidity 5-7 g/dm3. Shoots ripen very well. Rootstock compatibility is good. Fruitful shoots 70-75%, the number of clusters per shoot 1.3-1.5. The load on the bush is 30-40 eyes, pruning vines for 4-6 eyes. Frost resistance -25°С. The grape variety is relatively resistant to mildew, oidium and gray rot. Transportability is high. Kishmish Black Sultan is suitable for fresh use and preparation of sultanas. It can be cultivated in a non-covering culture.
